This session will provide an overview of the VXSuite Modules. The presentation will be focused on the strengths of each individual module and the increased value you can deliver to your customers through a combination of module deployment.
Successful Unified Communications (UC) implementations are difficult. A great UC user experience requires excellent IT professionals and excellent assessment, monitoring, and maintenance tools.
Great resources without great tools are ineffective. Great tools in the hands of inexperienced communications professionals aren’t maximized.
We are excited to announce the creation of VXSWAT, the finest UC Architects, Engineers, and Developers anywhere.
The VXSuite Tools have been proven in hundreds of UC implementations to be invaluable. Together VXSWAT and VXSuite can help you deliver the promise of Universal Communications.
Tech Breakfast – Micro Appliance Troubleshooting
This session will focus on troubleshooting issues with Agent deployment, with a focus on the Linux based micro-appliances. We’ll look at troubleshooting connectivity issues as well as data collection issues.
VXSuite as a Pre-deployment Assessment Tool
This session will be focused on using the VXTracker and VXPulse modules at a customer’s location before you deploy a new VoIP/Video solution or to assist in troubleshooting a problematic deployment.
For VXTracker we’ll look at what reports to run as pre-deployment tools, how to calculate bandwidth needs based on a current T1’s occupancy and some notifications that can be set for trunk occupancy, 911 alerts and more.
For VXPulse we’ll walk through a sample customer network and how to apply the monitoring and testing capabilities of VXPulse pre-deployment. This will include information on: placing VXPulse agents, Active QoE testing, bandwidth monitoring, NetFlow, ping and traceroute. We’ll also explore the reports that are available for each testing scenario and show you what you should be looking for in the tests.
Sales tips will be discussed for each module of VXSuite
Is call accounting dead? With the cost of phone calls being sub 2¢ per minute, many people say call accounting is dead. In this class we’ll talk about new and creative ways to use VXTracker. We’ll discuss how to analyze marketing campaigns, look at trends and time of day reports to use for staffing. We’ll even talk about how VXTracker helps plan a move to IP.
Selling VXPulse can be challenging because it does so much. We’ll talk about how to position the most important aspects of VXPulse so your customer’s don’t get overwhelmed in the nitty-gritty. We’ll talk about how as a managed service, VXPulse is a tool that both they can use as well as you.
Understanding the enhanced reporting that VXMobile brings will increase sales and stickiness. We’ll talk about adding mobile records to VXTracker as well as look at the VXDashboard and the views it offers.
The strength of VXRecord comes when you pair it with VXTracker and can click play to listen to the call from within the VXTracker application. We’ll talk about scoring, annotating and emailing calls as well.
Tech Afternoon Breakout – VXPulse Template and Rules
This technical session will walk through Configuration Templates and Monitor Rules in detail. We’ll talk about each of the monitoring capabilities, what’s required for configuration and best practices. We’ll explore Monitor rule definition and application, including the nastiness involved in defining SNMP Trap alarms.
Tech Breakfast – Mobility in VXTracker
This section will walk through the process of collecting and processing data from Mobile carriers into VXTracker. In addition, the session will explore the types of reports and filters that can then be used to focus on a customer’s cellular usage. Understanding the types of reporting available on mobile usage will be beneficial for both technical and sales resources.
